Andy Goldsworthy

Andy Goldsworthy is a contemporary Earth Artist. He is well known for his beautiful manipulations of the environment. He uses what he finds on site to create unique and amazing moments. He will use thorns and sap to stick things together. He will even patiently refreeze ice peices together.

Most of Goldsworthy's artwork is ephemeral, meaning that it is transitory and existing only briefly. He creates his art knowing that soon, and in some cases very soon, nature will take it back. To document and share his artwork, Andy Goldsworthy uses photography to capture and preserve it.

I really like Goldsworthy's work. I like how he just get objects that he finds on sight and makes those into art.

I really enjoyed learning about Andy Golsworthy. He truly amazed me on how he took the most simplest thing nature hos to offer and he makes them even more spectacular and he has become one of my favorite artists.

I liked this artist it was also the artist i choose in the recent poll. I liked him because he uses items he finds where he is and uses it to create artworks. It's not everyday that you see this type of work being made. It's just great to see more and more people finding ways to make great pieces of art.
