Sandy Skoglund

Sandy Skoglund is an American photographer and installation artist. She began working as an artist in New York in 1972. She became interested in teaching herself photography to document her artistic endeavors, experimenting with themes of repetition in her surrealistic environments. She is currently teaching photography and art installation/multimedia at a University in New Jersey.

I love installation art. Particularly because it turns the ordinary in the extraordinary and surreal. Installation art turns the same places that you are used to and turns them around in an unorthodox fashion. Great!

I really like the artist Sandy Skoglund I like how she makes her art work and then photographs it my favorite photo is the one of the chettos.

I liked this form of art work and enjoy learning about new artists and using photo shop in a diffrent way than how i used it last year in this class altho you teach diffrently you still do a good job at it

she really is a very creative artist and i really admire her as each of her animals looks different and realistic enough to make anyone look twice at it.

This is one of my favorite artist from this semester because of the time and effort put into her pieces of artwork. I also so likes the different items she uses in them, for instance the cheetos and the raisins.

I really enjoyed learning about Sandy Skoglund. Because she is very creative and had some amazing ideas that i would've never thought about doing in my life. Her creativity helped me think "outside the box" and really helped me see different things out of the usual.
